Nirupama Gopalaswami received her from Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center (MKOPSC) in 2016 at Department of Chemical Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, USA. She has done research in both Texas A&M College Station and Qatar Campuses. She attended Anna University in India where she obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 2010. She currently works as process safety consultant in Honeywell Process Solutions. Her role includes design of Fire and Gas Systems (FGS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) for the chemical process industry. Her focus areas include process safety, fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics and tool development for process safety applications. Her specialized focuses in process safety include accident modeling involving gas leaks, fires and explosions.
