Biography

Gloria Morris, M.D., Ph.D. is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Department of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens, Long Island City. She is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina’s Medical Scientist Training Program, with a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pathobiology. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and fellowship in Medical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. She currently oversees her practice’s Family Risk Assessment Program for hereditary cancers, with special training from the City of Hope National Cancer Center’s Department of Clinical Genetics. Dr. Morris is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, from which she has received a Best of ASCO distinction for research in breast cancer disparities. She is a feature editor for Seminars in Oncology.
