My primary research on Lipid-Based Novel Targeted Drug Delivery Approaches for Anti-infective Therapy (HIV infection) and Intracellular oxidative stress during infectious disease and strategies to overcome it. Also, I was working on the nutritional effect of several antioxidants in combating intracellular oxidative stress and immunity and their consequences. Throughout my research experience, I have worked on nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems like Polymeric Microneedle, Liposome, Nanosuspension, Nanostructured lipid carrier, Solid lipid Nanoparticle, and Surface modified Nanoparticle and Microsphere, Lipomer, Transdermal Patches, Metallic nanoparticle, Protein and Peptide Drug Delivery, Monoclonal antibody formulations, Solid Orals and plasma processing of pharmaceutical products for different applications. I am also skilled in handling instruments like DSC, TGA, XRD, FTIR, SEM, Particle size analyzers, Texture analyzers, Ultraviolet and Fluorescence Spectroscopy, OCT, LC-MS, and HPLC. Also, I have good experience in handling animals, performing preclinical studies of nanoformulations (PK & BD), and clinical data collections and their interpretations.
