Dr. Paluri Sai Shantanu Rao has completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Medicinal and Biological Chemistry at the University of Toledo (UT) in Dec. 2011. Since then, he has conducted three and half years of postdoctoral research training in the fields of addiction biology and HIV research. He is currently working as a research associate in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. His graduate and postdoctoral research works have yielded 17 peer-reviewed research/review papers (11 first author) and 1 book chapter. Currently, 3 other research articles (2 first author) are being reviewed for publication by various scientific journals.
