Dr. Kingsley Ufuoma Tobi

Dr. Kingsley Ufuoma Tobi is a consultant Anaesthesiologist/critical care physician at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Nigeria. He is a fellow of both National Postgraduate Medical College and West African College of Surgeons. He did his post Fellowship training in Critical Care at the prestigious Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, India. Dr. Tobi has authored over 25 scientific publications in local, national and international journals of repute and book chapters in some medical textbooks. He is the author of “Questions and Answers in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care” being used by resident doctors in Anaesthesia and other specialties for both Diploma and Fellowship examinations. He recently published an ICU book, titled “ICU Pocket Book”, the first ICU Book written by a Nigerian author. He supervises part II candidates for the National Postgraduate Medical College and West African College of Surgeons in the Faculty of Anaesthesia. He is very involved in teaching medical students and postgraduate students in anaesthesia and critical care. Dr. Tobi is the Secretary of the Critical Care Society of Nigeria and the immediate past Assistant Secretary of the Nigerian Society of Anaesthetists, the umbrella body of all Anaesthesiologists in Nigeria. He is an ordained clergy with the New Covenant Church, Nigeria under Rev. Dr. Paul Jinadu and has written several Christian books such as “Audacity of vision”, “Pursuit of Excellence”, “Pillars of Purity” among others. Dr. Tobi is married to his beautiful wife, Pst. Mrs. Fayokemi Tobi and they are blessed with three lovely children, Joyce, 13, Precious, 11, and Jemimah, 4.
