Biography

Dr. Deidre Ann Tyler is a sociologist, motivational speaker and personal fitness trainer. She is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi - specifically the Marcus Bottom Community. She received her bachelors degree in Social Work from Mississippi College; and her doctorate from Mississippi State University. She received another Masters degree in Instructional Technology from Utah State University. Dr. Tyler teachers sociology on line and face to face. She is the author of two books "A Womans Guide to Setting Boundaries" and "Utah African American Women Tell Their Stories 1940-2002." She is an award winning speaker and the recipient of the Dale Carnegie best speaker award. She is single and lives in Salt Lake City, Utah
