Dr. Tulsiani received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ewing Christian College in Allahabad, India in 1962. He received a Master of Science degree in 1964 and PhD in biochemistry in 1968 from the University of Allahabad. He joined the research group of Professor Carubelli in 1968 as a post-doctoral fellow at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. He was appointed as a research associate in Molecular Biology at Vanderbilt University in 1972 and joined Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1988. He was promoted to the rank of professor in 1996. Dr. Tulsiani served as director of Reproductive Biology Center Seminar series from 1991-1992, and was director of the Glycoprotein Core Facility of the Center for Reproductive Biology Research from 1992-1996. He has served as an ad hoc reviewer for the National Science Foundation since 1991. In 1996, he became a member of the Reproductive Biology study section and is currently a member of the NIH Reviewers Reserve Committee.
