Craig R. Hilburn has been a researcher in the field of Psychopharmacology for the past 5 years. In 2008 he earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Neuroscience from The University of North Texas Health Science. Following graduate school, he entered a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychiatry where he was a Co-Investigator for several clinical studies examining the use of Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) as a neural biomarker to predict alcohol, cocaine and methamphetamine cravings in persons with comorbid mood and substance use disorders. After his fellowship ended in 2010, he started a clinical research site focused on investigational therapeutics for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He has authored or coauthored several published manuscripts in the field.
His research interest includes Pyscho-stimulant Addiction, Alcohol Addiction, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder and Bi-Polar Disorders.
