Christa Buechler

Biography

Professor Dr. C. Buechler is head of the research group “Molecular and cellular interactions in diabetes mellitus, obesity and metabolic diseases at the Department of Internal Medicine I, University Hospital Regensburg, Germany. She has received her M.Sc degree in biology in 1987and her PhD degree in natural sciences in 1991. She is serving as an editorial board member of three journals which are well accepted by researchers working in the field of obesity/type 2 diabetes and is reviewer for about 20 journals. She is author/coauthor on 90 original publications and 12 review articles.
