Chikao Morimoto worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Harvard Medical School upto 1988. Later as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the same school upto 1995. From 1995 to 2001 he occupied the visiting Professor position in the same Harvard Medical School. In the University of Texas he worked as Research Professor from 2001 to 2005.
