Chi Lu received his bachelor degree in analytical chemistry (in the Department of Environmental Engineering) from Hebei University of Science and Technology, China in 1996 and master degree in materials science from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China in 1999. He obtained a PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky in October, 2009. In 2010, he joined the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB, an Institute within the National Institutes Health (NIH) of the USA).
