Dr. Bui Chi Buu has received his PhD in Plant Breeding from Vietnam Agricultural Sciences Institute during the period of 1982-1989. Currently, he is working as Director General in Institute of Agricultural Science for Southern Vietnam. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Director General of Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute. He has authored more than 240 research articles and 13 books. He has honoured with Viet Talent Award for basic research outputs by GOV of Vietnam (2010).
