Dr. Chaudhuri holds Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Connecticut. He got his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore respectively. Thereafter, he got his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Insititute of Technology and worked in the telecommunication industry for 3 years. He joined University of Connecticut as as Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Technology after 4 years of postdoctoral research in Department of Chemical Engineering and NSF-Engineering Research Center in Rutgers University. He has given 6 invited talks and the author of more than 50 book chapters, journal publications and conference proceedings. He currently serves in the Editorial board of several journals and in the advisory committees of multinational companies and international conferences. Dr. Chaudhuris research on Pharmaceutical Technology is supported by FDA, NIH, PhRMA Foundation, Pfizer, Boehringer Ingelhiem and CPPR.
My general research area is experimentally validated high performance scientific computing, particularly in the areas of multi-scale modeling of complex fluid, materials, biological systems and nano-pharmaceuticals.
