Bin Guan

Biography

Dr. Bin Guan is currently a senior research fellow in the Department of Pathology at Johns Hopkins University. After obtaining his B.S. from Fudan University in Shanghai, China, he earned his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Since 2008, Dr. Guan has been focused on the identification and characterization of novel genomic alterations in ovarian cancer. His interests also include applying cancer mutations for novel diagnostics and therapeutics. He is a recipient of the OSB1 Award from the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation and the Ann Schreiber Research Training Programs of Excellence grant from the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
