Ayse Gul Ince was the third rank graduate amongst the all departments in Faculty of Agriculture in Akdeniz University, Turkey in 1999. She has completed her Ph.D in the Department of Horticulture from Akdeniz University in 2010. She became Associate Professor in 2012. She worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher for seven years in three different plant epigenetic project supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) in Akdeniz University. She is working as Associate Professor at Organic Agriculture Program in Vocational School of Technical Sciences. Her main interest is plant molecular biology. She has developed DNA & RNA extraction methods, jojoba gender identification kit, pepper microsatellite markers and contributed to the development of several bioinformatic tools. She served as second advisor for many graduate students in horticulture and field crops departments. She has several scientific awards and many publications.
