Biography

Dr. Anji is a Research Associate Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University. She received her MD degree from Bangalore University, India, and her PhD degree in Pharmacology/Neuroscience from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her post-doctoral training she studied the molecular effects of alcohol on NMDA receptors. Currently her work focuses on the effect of alcohol on mRNA stability of a NMDA receptor. She is a member of the Society for Neuroscience and the Research Society on Alcoholism.
