Anil Bamezai

Biography

Dr. Anil Bamezai completed his B.S. in Jammu University, India during 1979. He completed his M.S. in Jammu University, India during 1982. He did his PhD in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, India during 1987. He completed his Post-Doctoral in Harvard Medical School, USA in 1990.

Research Interest

Dr. Bamezai’s research interests are in the area of cell and molecular Immunology. His research interest encompasses the field of lymphocyte biology. A major goal of his research is to understand mechanisms underlying regulation of CD4+ T lymphocyte responses to protein antigens. Focus of research in his laboratory is on a set of glycosylphosphatidyl-inositol (GPI)-anchored proteins housed in membrane rafts.
