Luis Alexandre Muehlmann is a postdoc researcher at the University of Brasília and at the Nanodynamics Company. His research interests lie in the area of nanostructured delivery-systems for antineoplastic agents and vaccines. Muehlmann completed his PhD at University of Brasília and his undergraduate studies at Federal University of Paraná.
In recent years he has focused on the development of new nanocarriers for photosensitizers used in antineoplastic photodynamic therapy, as well as nanostructured immunoadjutants for specific immunotherapy. His former field of research was the analysis of the effects of fatty acids on the immune system.
