    Impact of Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Lupus

    Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease, has various manifestations affecting different organs and systems in the body. Among these manifestations, Neuropsychiatric Lupus, or NPSLE, presents a significant challenge due to its intricate relationship between the immune system and the central nervous system. Neuropsychiatric Lupus refers to the neurological and psychiatric symptoms that occur in individuals with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). SLE is a multisystem autoimmune disease, where the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissues, causing inflammation and damage.
