Spiro is the VP of Tissue Engineering at Aspect Biosystems Ltd. and manages all partnered and internal tissue engineering programs. Spiro was trained as a reproductive and developmental biologist at the University of British Columbia. He was previously a tenured Associate Professor of Dermatology and Cell & Molecular Biology at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where he directed an academic research program with a focus on epithelial cell biology and tissue regeneration.
