Building Information Model for Cost Estimation and Scheduling in Building Architecture

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a prominent and severely needed development in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industries. BIM is both a technology and a process, BIM technology allows for the digital construction of an accurate virtual model of a building. Green building development is supported by Building Information Modeling (BIM), a contemporary data information platform and management tool. In this research, two building performance analysis software, Autodesk Takeoff and Navisworks including Revit to make the BIM model have been used. First presented in this paper are the main concepts of BIM then a BIM model integration for cost estimation, and construction schedule are considered using the above BIM analyzing tools.
