Biography

Dr. Regina Helena Silva  has graduated in Biological Sciences - Medical Modality from the Federal University of São Paulo (1994), master's degree in Pharmacology from the Federal University of São Paulo (1997) and PhD in Pharmacology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2001). Held post-doctoral internship at UNIFESP a scholarship from the Foundation to the São Paulo State Research (2002-2003). He was a visiting professor at UNIFESP pharmacology department (2004-2005). Later, he served as an effective professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, guiding the Graduate Program in Psychobiology, of which he was vice-coordinator. Since July 2014, it is Associate Professor of the Federal University of São Paulo. It works in the area of basic research in neuropsychopharmacotherapy with emphasis on the following topics:. Memory and learning, memory and emotional states respect and animal models of central nervous system disorders (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
