Biography
Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Amazonas (1973), Master in Pathology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1978) and Ph.D. in Pathology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1991). He is currently Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Amazonas and researcher at the Tropical Medicine Foundation of Amazonas.
