    Factors Influencing Condom Use among People Living with HIV/AIDS Attending Clinics at State Specialist Hospital, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria

    Objectives: The study identified the determinants of family planning practices among people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) attending clinics in Akure, Nigeria. Methods: The study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design. A semi-structured questionnaire was used to collect data from PLWAHs attending clinics in Akure, Nigeria selected through a systematic sampling technique. Results: Poor knowledge of family planning (odd ratio [OR]=10.17, 95% confidence interval [CI]=2.21-46.71), never discussed family planning with sexual partner (OR=0.40, CI=0.01-0.12), death of children (OR=7.47, CI=2.16-21.85), low level of education (OR=9.40, CI=2.95-29.94) and living in rural areas (OR=7.45, CI=2.67-20.79) were significantly associated with the non-use of contraceptive.
