John Freedman

Biography

Dr. John Freedman is Professor Emeritus of Medicine and of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada. He was Director of Transfusion Medicine at St. Michael's Hospital, where he also supervised the aphaeresis unit and cellular immunology lab. His major research interest is in the field of platelet immunology and he has published almost 300 papers in scientific literature.
