Dr. Estibaliz Sansinenea Royano (1974) was graduated in chemistry at University of Basque Country (UPV) in Spain where she specialized in molecular biology in 1998. In 1999 she moved to Mexico at Science institute of Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla to work in her doctoral thesis on genetic manipulation of bacillus thuringiensis. Finally in 2012 she joined to the Chemistry faculty in the same university where she is currently working. Her research has included chemistry, molecular biology and microbial biotechnology, which is currently her actual research line. She has authored a book entitled Bacillus thuringiensis biotechnology from springer and several research articles in the last ten years.
