Dr. Fry is the Executive Vice-President of MPA Healthcare Solutions of Chicago. He is Professor Emeritus of Surgery from the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine where he was the Chairman of the Department of Surgery for over 16 years. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He has had a career interest in clinical infectious disease and the septic response in surgical patients.
New interests include objective measures of clinical outcomes, healthcare models for payment reform, and strategies to realign physician incentives for quality and efficiency in the delivery of care.
