The global rise of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) has prompted urgent calls for more responsible use of antibiotics in both hospital and community settings. Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASPs) have emerged as essential interventions to ensure the optimal use of antimicrobial agents promoting efficacy, minimizing resistance, and reducing adverse effects and healthcare costs. Within these multidisciplinary programs, clinical pharmacists play a critical and increasingly recognized role.
