Recent Progress in Protein Mass Spectrometry

In recent years, mass spectrometry has seen developing use in the recognizable proof of endogenous antigens that are the objectives of autoantibodies. For instance, a significant advancement was accomplished when two podocyte cell surface proteins the PLA2 receptor and Thrombospondin type-1 space containing 7A were distinguished that tight spot autoantibodies present in membranous nephropathy.
