Psychosocial Effect of Malocclusion among Sudanese University Dental Students

Orthodontic treatment, unlike other forms of treatment, depends not only on the clinician, but also on the patients’ point of view. Patients and dentists differ in their evaluation of oral health and the demand for treatment is mostly related to personal concern about appearance and other psychosocial factors. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of orthodontic treatment needs as related to dental health on the oral health-related quality of life of dental students.
