Kawasaki disease (KD) mostly mucocutaneous lymph gland syndrome or Kawasaki syndrome (KS) affects lymph glands that swell during an infection in lymph nodes, skin, and therefore the mucous membranes inside and through the nasal cavity (as well as mouth) nose and throat.
