Proteomics & System Biology
Proteomics is the analysis of the entire protein complement of a cell, tissue, or organism under a specific, defined set of conditions or proteomics is the discipline of identifying and quantifying the proteins present in an organism. Systems biology integrates computational modelling and experimental biology to predict and characterize the dynamic properties of biological systems, which are viewed as complex signalling networks. It can also be defined as the study of the interactions and behaviour of the components of biological entities, including molecules, cells, organs, and organisms.
