Abstract

Glycobiology provides a venue featuring manuscripts describing important new research and developments in computational methodology that are required for modern glycobiology, along with robust analytic data sets that utilize or inspire these tools.

Editorial Note

Glycobiology encompasses the study of the complex sugars found attached to proteins and cell membranes as well as the receptors that recognise them.

Journal of Glycobiology is Open Access peer reviewed Scientific Journal by eminent Editorial Board and the manuscripts are peer- reviewed by potential reviewers according to their research interest. This journal aims to keep scientists, researchers, and students informed and updated on the ongoing research in the relevant area. Outstanding quality articles are welcome to maintain the highest standard of the journal and to achieve high impact factor. We are one of the renowned publishers with most of its journals indexed in esteemed databases like Google Scholar, Scopus and listed in Pub Med.

Glycobiology publishes original articles across a wide range of related subjects. The journal seeks to publish articles that provide novel information about the biological significance of glycans or glycosylation. Shorter Communications are also published providing timely findings that will have a significant impact for investigators in the field.

For the last 8 years, published papers has be under the strong and able leadership of our Editorial board members. We all are very honoured and grateful for their selfless devotion towards the journal. On completion of its successful 8 years journey in medical publishing field, JGB is offering 50% waiver on article processing charges, to promote research across the globe and to encourage faster advancement of research at relatively low expenses.

We provide a rapid turn-around time possible for peer reviewing and publishing the article online and to disseminate the articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes. We can also support your events and conferences by providing you with high quality reprints of published articles that can add value to your event.

Journal of Glycobiology is established as the leading journal in the field, Glycobiology provides a unique forum dedicated to research into the biological functions of glycans, including glycoproteins, glycolipids, proteoglycans and free oligosaccharides, and on proteins that specifically interact with glycans (including lectins, glycosyltransferases, and glycosidases). The aim is to understand how these receptors respond to the information in complex sugar structures at the molecular, cellular and organismal levels.

Glyco-Informatics - Glycobiology provides a venue featuring manuscripts describing important new research and developments in computational methodology that are required for modern glycobiology, along with robust analytic data sets that utilize or inspire these tools.

Glycobiology is essential reading for researchers in biomedicine, basic science, and the biotechnology industries. By providing a single forum, the journal aims to improve communication between glycobiologists working in different disciplines and to increase the overall visibility of the field.
