Aims and Scope

Journal of Data Mining in Genomics & Proteomics (JDMGP) is a broad-based journal founded on two key tenets: Primarily to publish the most exciting researches which may include various branches of genetics such as genetic engineering, biochemistry, DNA sequencing methods, structure and function of genomes, etc., related to Data Mining in Genomics & Proteomics. Secondly, to provides a rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing of articles freely for research, teaching and reference purposes.

It is basically aimed at the Clinical Practitioners, medical/ health practitioners, Pharmaceutical   professionals, students, and researchers and professional bodies and institutions.

All works published by Longdom Publishing are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. This permits anyone to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt the work provided the original work and source is appropriately cited. JDMGP strongly supports the Open Access initiative. All published articles will be assigned DOI provided by Cross Ref.  JDMGP will keep up-to- date with latest advances in the field of Data Mining in Genomics & Proteomics. Abstracts and full texts (HTML, PDF and XML format) of all articles published by JDMGP are freely accessible to everyone immediately after publication. JDMGP supports the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.

Definition of Open Access Publication

An Open Access Publication is one that meets the following two conditions:

  • The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant(s) to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship, as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.
