 Rene M Gordillo has authored of many research articles/books related to Hepatology and Gastroenterology. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology. His research interests includes Hepatic and Gastric complications. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.

  Mirizzi Syndrome, a benign extrinsic compression of the common hepatic duct by a stone impacted in the cystic duct or the neck of the gallbladder, is a rare pathology. The surgical management of Mirizzi Syndrome type III and IV has been based on a bilioenteric derivation.
