  Heat Transfer over a Stretching Surface with Variable Thickness Embedded in Porous Medium in the Presence of Maxwell Fluid

  The heat generation/absorption effects in a Maxwell fluid over a stretching surface with variable thickness embedded in a porous medium is considered. The nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations by similarity method. The resulting coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations are solved under appropriate transformed boundary conditions using the Runge-Kutta fourth order along with shooting method. Comparisons with previously published work are performed and the results are found to be in very good agreement. Characteristics of dissonant parameters on velocity, temperature, skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number are collected and discussed through graphs and tables. .. View More»
