Recent advancements in medical research have brought an innovate discoveries that hold the potential of transforming healthcare. However, with progress comes the ethical imperative to ensure that scientific endeavors are conducted with integrity, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of research participants. While the potential to cure genetic disorders and address previously untreatable conditions is immense, the ethical implications of gene editing demand oversight [1].

CRISPR gene editing

One of the most revolutionary innovation in recent medical research has been the development of Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) gene editing technology, providing precision in manipulating the human genome. In response to these challenges, international collaborations and ethical frameworks, including the International Summit on Human Gene Editing, have been established. These endeavors seek to establish guidelines that balance the transformative potential of CRISPR with the ethical imperative to prevent unintended consequences and abuses of this powerful technology [2].

AI in healthcare and data privacy concerns

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare has brought first remarkable change in diagnostics, treatment optimization, and personalized medicine.
