Abstract

The physical metric in general relativity and the size and gravitational lensing of black holes and neutron stars

Yukio Tomozawa

By selecting the exact solution of Einstein equation that fits time delay experiment of the solar system, one is lead to the physical metric. In this metric, the speed of light in the angular direction is restricted to that of vacuum. It has been shown by the author that the size of black holes and neutron stars becomes 2.60 times Schwarzschild radius. In this article, it will be shown that the gravitational lensing for black holes and neutron stars doubles the size. These are consistent with the recent measurements of black holes of M87 and Milky Way.
