Abstract

Synthesis and Characterization of Podophyllotoxin Analogues

The analogues of podophyllotoxin were synthesized in good yield using tetralone as a starting material. The structure of the compounds was confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, mass spectra and elemental analysis data. The synthesized podophyllotoxin analogues were screened for biological activity.
