Drug discovery remains one of the most complex and transformative scientific endeavors in modern healthcare. Despite remarkable progress in biomedical research, developing a new therapeutic agent continues to require extensive time, substantial financial investment and multidisciplinary collaboration. The traditional drug discovery process, once driven primarily by empirical screening and trial and error experimentation, is now undergoing a profound transformation through technological innovation, computational sciences and precision medicine. The growing burden of chronic diseases, infectious diseases, neurological disorders and rare genetic conditions has intensified the demand for safer and more effective therapeutic agents.
