Anxiety management has become an essential component of contemporary mental healthcare because anxiety related conditions are among the most prevalent psychiatric disorders worldwide. Although anxiety is a normal emotional response that prepares individuals to cope with perceived threats, persistent or excessive anxiety may interfere with cognitive functioning, emotional stability, physical health and social relationships. Effective anxiety management focuses not only on reducing symptoms but also on improving resilience, enhancing adaptive coping strategies and restoring overall quality of life. Modern approaches integrate biological, psychological, behavioral and social interventions to address the complex mechanisms contributing to anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorders encompass several clinical conditions, including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder (PD), Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD), Specific Phobia (SP) and Separation Anxiety Disorder (SepAD). Each disorder presents distinct clinical characteristics while sharing common features such as excessive fear, persistent worry, heightened physiological arousal and avoidance behaviors.
