Healthcare’s predominant focus on care is a significant obstacle to improving population health and reducing care costs. However, recognizing the distinctions between Health and Care in Healthcare offers an opportunity to achieve these goals. This presentation will demonstrate how increasing Healthcare's focus on health, enlisting patients as partners in their health, utilizing Oral-Systemic Connections, and sharing timely oral health management data across Healthcare can improve population health, reduce costs, and transform the value of Dentistry in Healthcare
