New Approch Towards Reconstructive Surgeries

As you know that reconstructive surgery and anaplastology defines the art of restoring a malformed or absent part of the human body through artificial means. Skilful crafting was a part of human life since time immemorial. This particular discipline of science deals with cosmetic surgery, development of relevant devices to restore or establish the human body part causing pain and societal stigma. An anaplastologist creates prosthetic devices to serve for improving the treatment quality through designing and fabricating life by restorative prostheses such as finger, hand, nose, face and other body parts.

As the present understanding in Cosmetic Surgery is inadequate and requires much more vital researched information. Several new effective means are emerging such as Minimal-Acellular Dermal Matrix-technique and using the Angiosome and Supermicrosurgery and so on. This special issue is dedicated to increase our present understanding regarding reconstructive surgery and aims towards exploring the latest technical edge for successful patient outcome.
