Impact of Neurological Diseases in Aging Mechanisms

Purpose

Disseminating extraordinary scientific advances to the widest community of experts and clinicians within the disciplines of aging and cognitive neuroscience.

Mission

The mission of the special issue is to support research into the causes, treatment, and prevention of neurological disorders in aged people; the training of basic and clinical scientists to carry out this research; and the dissemination of information on research progress based on current advances.

Summary of Special Issue

In this special issue entitled “Impact of Neurological Diseases in Aging Mechanisms” research portfolio includes following core areas:

• Extension of lifespan and health span
• Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
• Incentivizing behaviour change in humans
• Risk factors of aging
• Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias

The goal is to provide better results on hypothesis-driven laboratory or clinical research. We welcome manuscripts encompassing multifaceted aspects of Aging and neurological disorders.

Results

These findings would conceptually advance treatment for both young and old adults who are influenced by neurological diseases and promote more studies, including clinical investigation, and ultimately lead to better outcomes.
