Plasma Cell Disorder

Abnormality in Plasma cell results in plasma cell disorders. Plasma cell disorders are uncommon. Single plasma cell multiplies excessively which results in an increasing number of abnormal plasma cells results in damages of various tissues and organs.

Antibody produced by the clone of plasma cells can sometimes damage vital organs, especially the kidneys and bones. Plasma cell disorders include monoclonal gammopathies, multiple myeloma, macroglobulinemia, and heavy chain diseases. Blood cell tests can help diagnose of plasma cell disorders.
