Neural Plasticity

It is also called brain plasticity. It is the process in which the brain's neural pathways and synapses are altered as an effect of behavioral, neural and environmental changes . It is also known as brain plasticity, it is an umbrella term that encompasses both synaptic plasticity and non-synaptic plasticity.

Neural plasticity allows the neurons in the brain to compensate for injury and disease and to adjust their activities in response to new situations or to changes in their environment.
