A liquid diet mostly contains liquids, or soft foods that melt at room temperature (such as gelatin and ice cream). It can mean either partial or full meal replacement by either clear or non-clear fluids. A liquid diet helps strengthen muscles quicker and easier than regularly working out, but exercise is recommended to those who wish to gain strength and lose weight, during this diet.
