Foster Care services provide safe, secure and nurturing homes for children who have been separated from the care of their biological families. When families are unable to care for their children, Children’s Home + Aid works to find suitable homes for them with foster parents who can provide the appropriate care based on the children’s individual needs. A Medical Foster Home can serve as an alternative to a nursing home. It may be appropriate for Veterans who require nursing home care but prefer a non-institutional setting with fewer residents.
