Clinical Drug Trial

Clinical trials are testing studies that explore whether a medical strategy, treatment, or device is safe and effective for humans. These studies also may show which medical resemble work best for certain illnesses or groups of people. Clinical trials produce the best data available for healthcare decision making. The main aim of clinical trials is research, so the studies follow strict scientific quality. These standards protect patients and help produce reliable study results. Once researchers/scientists have completed a rigorous screening and preclinical testing process, the company files an Investigational New Drug application with the Food and Drug Administration to allow the investigational drug which is to be tested in human volunteers in clinical trials.
