With the aim of illustrating this context two recent shared projects Faculty of Pharmacy-industry, will be considered. One of the projects, developed in the Laboratory of Medicinal Chemistry, concerns the development of a new class of therapeutically active compounds that target the 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 1 (11β-HSD1).
